This books starts with what my friend Grace and I learnt about starting a craft group. We were amazed at how much of an impact it could have and what it could lead to.

The picture on the front was taken one day when we were preparing to start a session. The bowls and rolling pins suggest that we were  going to start by making salt dough and then use that salt dough to make something that could take home.

I have since realised that a craft group is an excellent starting point for a series of community activities. The second half of the book is about what comes after the craft group.
